Chief Executive Officer
Pieter Aucamp is the CEO of Bluestream who, for the past 20 years, consulted with top 100 JSE listed companies and leading Universities in South Africa for market research, business development and strategy. During this time, he established a competitiveness benchmark and initiated various award-winning products. He started his career as a student entrepreneur salesman and moved on to business development whilst with ISCOR (Suprachem), followed by the national head of Marketing and sales for Speedy, Mr Exhaust/Mr Tyre. He also has BPR experience with McKinsey, IBM and Proudfoot in change management.
Dr Johan de Beer, a registered Industrial Psychologist, specialises in Psycho-Legal Assessments; Talent Search; Executive Placements; Organisational Development (OD); Job Architecture, and Psychometric Assessment. He holds a Doctorate (D Litt et Phil) in Industrial Psychology from University of Johannesburg and master’s degree in Psychology from University of Pretoria, with 30 years’ experience in the field.
He held various positions in human resource management, organisational consulting in business and corporate environments. He has traveled and worked in Europe, Australia and the USA.

Research must adequately address issues of both internal and external validity and ensure accurate reporting of results while protecting sensitive subject data. High standards of rigor ensure the integrity of the research process and results, a pre-condition for research that is respectful of participants’ time and usable by research stakeholders.
Relevant research has clear value to stakeholders and addresses priority issues and questions for research subjects, study communities, as well as donors and decision-makers. Research findings are understandable and accessible to research subjects, practitioners, and policymakers. Research studies and results are framed in ways that can inform action and decision-making at various levels of authority, and stakeholders commit to use findings to inform action.
Respectful research places the dignity and delight of the human subject at the centre of the research experience. It offers a clear, intelligible informed consent process, in which research subjects feel truly free to reject participation without fearing negative consequences. If they decide to participate, subjects find the experience enjoyable and meaningful. Subjects can review and refute research findings and feel that their contributions to the research have been appropriately valued.
Research is right-sized when the research scope and methods are well-suited to the research objectives and the priority of the research questions to stakeholders. Right-sized research is only as time-consuming, burdensome, and costly as it needs to be, and all unnecessary questions, activities, and protocols are removed.

He holds an MBA from the University of Pretoria, a Higher Education Diploma (HED) and a bachelor’s degree (BA) from the University of North West.
Pieter’s winning aspiration is to create the most advanced business development ecosystem in Africa through the companies he founded, and to add long-term value to the network of clients - that could rejuvenate Africa as an economic powerhouse. He believes in having a future focused growth mindset, developing human potential through lifelong learning and in trusting relationships in business.

Having been a part of several professions which are regulated by statutory and social contracts, I realised the importance of professionalism. I was lucky to be guided by mentors who made unselfish investments in my development. For this reason I founded the Professionality Institute (.com) as a way to create opportunities for giving back.
In total, I served in four professions. My first profession was in accountancy as I found myself second in charge of an accounting department. Moving on, I became head of an Internal Audit section, responsible for financial systems and compliance auditing. The next logical step was to move to external audit, and so I entered the third professional field. Moving through financial systems auditing to computer auditing and eventually was appointed section head in performance auditing (or value-for-money auditing). This was the most gratifying time, but after a few years, I realise my creative-self is calling.
I always had a passion for computing, information and business. So the next profession was as a subject matter expert in the field of business analysis. I still regard this as my core competency. I just love doing a killer business case. Next, I saw the rise of the IT- and enterprise architecture profession. And so, as I had acquired the necessary technical, organisational and business skills, I was contracted as an ICT architect and later as a chief enterprise architect.
In all, I have mastered strategy formulation (business- and technology-), project management, leadership and human resource development, marketing and sales. I am proficient in virtual collaboration & online learning technologies. In the role of business development, I have written plans for successfully raising close to R5 Bn and designed and introduced many innovations in organisations.
A past member of the Rotary Club of Pretoria Hatfield, long standing Chair of the Rotary Leadership Institute (Dist. 9400) and a friend of BNI Platinum (Tshwane).

Koos is a strategic thinker, driven by strong personal values and wants to make a difference wherever he is involved. He retired recently from Old Mutual PLC after stints in various functions varying from legal advice, marketing and business development. His most recent roles he con-tributed to were as the Head of Agri, Strategic Marketing manager and Distribution Marketing Manager for the largest distribution channel in financial services in South Africa.
He always brings an entrepreneurial approach to the roles and improves the impact by exploring new and better ways to enhance reach and delivery. As Head of Agri he developed a comprehensive customer value proposition, bringing together and aligning the propositions of different companies in the group and re-established networks and access to different market opportunities.
He has law degrees, is an admitted advocate of the High Court in SA, a chartered marketer and certified financial planner who wants to make a difference wherever he gets involved. He has a special interest in the sustainability and success of family businesses, especially in the agri-culture sector. He has a passion for the wellbeing of his family, loves the outdoors and enjoying golf and mountain biking. He is an executive director of AFTA (African Free Trade Agency) who has the vison being a catalyst for exponential socio-economic growth for Africa via an immersive evergreen virtual exhibition and trading platform.
